Claw Damage Calculations
Here's how to figure out how much claw damage you'll do. It may look complicated but once you look the equations over you'll see it's just basic grade school level math really.
Claw Stats bonuses:
[Dex x 0.0075] + [Str x 0.0075] + 1
[]: Use up to the second decimal point. (ex. 1.6875 use 1.68)
Example:
[225 x 0.0075] + [225 x 0.0075] + 1
[1.6875] + [1.6875] + 1
[1.68] + [1.68] + 1
4.36
Final Physical Damage Calculations:
FinalMin = {(StatsBonus + %DamageBonus) x (WeaponDamageMin + MinDamageBonuses}
FinalMax = {(StatsBonus + %DamageBonus) x (WeaponDamageMax + MaxDamageBonuses}
%DamageBonus: The total of all bonuses that add a percentage to your damage which include those from skills and items but not those on or socketed into your weapons.
MinDamageBonuses: The total off all minimum damage bonuses not on or socketed into your weapons.
MaxDamageBonuses: The total off all maximum damage bonuses not on or socketed into your weapons.
{}: Ignore everything after the decimal point. (ex. 422.92 use 422)
[]: Use up to the second decimal point. (ex. 1.6875 use 1.68)
Example:
__Weapon: 61-185
__StatsBonus: 2.62
__%DamageBonus: level 12 Might +150%; level 21 Claw Mastery (+115%); level 16, charge 3 Tiger Strike (+1200%)
__MinDamageBonuses: +10
__MaxDamageBonuses: +25
__FinalMin = {(2.62 + 1.50 + 1.15 + 12.00) x (61 + 10)}
__FinalMin = {17.27 x 71}
__FinalMin = {1226.17}
__FinalMin = 1226
__FinalMax = {(2.62 + 1.50 + 1.15 + 12.00) x (185 + 25)}
__FinalMax = {17.27 x 210}
__FinalMax = {3626.7}
__FinalMax = 3626
Important:
If enough minimum damage bonuses are applied the resulting FinalMin value could be higher than the FinalMax value when using the above calculations. In these cases the FinalMax value that is used would always be just one point higher than the FinalMin value.
Notes:
In these calculations 100% is entered as 1.00, 50% would be entered as 0.50 and so forth as noted in the example.
All elemental damage would be added on to the end of the physical damage calculations to give you your total attack damage value.
